Been working on this list for a while, trimmed a lot of the fat and I really have it humming now. A few of the keys are to hard mull for a 2 drop weapon round 1, ideally Luke's rod, unless you're facing a deck with lots of specials or range sides, then you prefer Ezra's Saber to help enable force misdirection.
The deck ramps pretty hard and you'll want to get down as many upgrades as possible including speeds, journals, illusions and weapons so you can power of the force for big damage. Ideally you want to use power of the force on a kanan focus to fix 3-5 dice, but be careful not to do this willy nilly. You want to make sure opponent doesn't have blowout removal available when you do this or do it off a force speed so your opponent can't react.
Power of the force is often a win condition on its own in this deck so be mindful of popping force illusions early if you don't HAVE to. That extra upgrade on the board can make the different between winning and losing.
Another trick to keep in mind when you need a resource in a pinch is to overwrite an equal cost upgrade with a unique and you can tap BTL to gain a resource. I'll often do this when I want to make sure i have enough money for mitigation AND a power of the force or have a mind trick in hand that i want to cast this round.
One trap to look out for is Master of the council special. Don't fall into the trap of forcing the special/reactivation. Readying a character is really powerful but it comes at a big cost, two resources and a really powerful die that can get your 2-3 extra damage. I found myself trying to force the special and then wasting cards on re-rolls and spending money that i couldn't then use on mitigation. Treat this upgrade as a weapon, look for the damage sides and treat any opportunity to ready a character as a bonus if it happens naturally.
The only flex spot is the Journals of Ben Kenobi, I had an r2-d2 in this spot for a long time and haven't decided yet which i prefer. feel free to test both or use your preference... currently i'm on the fence.
Let me know what you guys think but I've had some real success with this deck and it can swing with the big dogs of the current meta, including Kylo/Pryce.

I would imagine because it’s a BTL deck. Sine the rod is unique it gains redeploy where an ancient will not. |

I can heartily back Mat here, this deck is for some reason the bane of KRAP type decks. I wish you well with it and hope you decide is the silver blue god of R2-D2 better or worse than Journals of Ben Kenobi |

Seems like honed skills would fit in well here. I assume it was tried? Didn’t work out? |

What about It Binds All Things? Too slow? I'd think it would help you drop an extra upgrade per turn or save up for the Master of the Council |
How's resource generation doing? Seems like a very expensive curve. Is Built to Last enough for you? |

Also, in terms of resource efficiency, if at all possible i'll leave a resource side showing during round 1 and claim for 2 resources. One or two extra resources in round 1/2 is more than enough to get the ramp engine going for the rest of the game. |

The rod costs 2, then the plot can be exhausted to gain a resource back. Small point but there it is. If you don't have the 2 up front, the plot doesn't give you a discount. |
I liked that idea so i built my own. I added Rey's staff as another 2 drop. Plus a little more grey helps I feel. |
Why 2x Rod over 2x Ancient?
