I played this at a very small store tourney tonight, scoring a bye and two wins, which makes it my first time ever winning a constructed tournament. I was playing two good players, including our regional champion, so the deck is still solid.
It's just not quite as good as it used to be with Arena of Death - Nar Shaddaa, Armored Reinforcement, and Across The Galaxy, but it can pump out damage pretty quickly. I really like Preemptive Strike as a way to start the damage flowing before the game even starts. I still doubt if it's good enough to win Worlds or anything, but maybe it is still borderline tier 1.
I didn't get to play Aftermath or Resistance Crait Speeder in either game. I could have used the resources from Aftermath, but I have enough other damage that I didn't miss the Crait. I never really had enough money to play it, even when I had it in hand, and most other decks will easily be able to remove the one and only threatening die, so I'll probably pull it out. Maybe I'll toss Kinship in to replace it, to help with the resources.

I'm not sure if the resources are really an issue, or if I just got unlucky in not getting any of my resource cards in hand early in either game. Two games aren't really enough of a test. If I get Aftermath in my opening hand, then resources really shouldn't be an issue. |
Nice; if resources are an issue consider Crackdown; with preemptive strike it should work really well.
