This deck is all about getting the most value out of its Cards. Starting with the character line up, with Cody you get 3 additional 7 point, 8 health characters with a pretty good die and inherent reroll ability.
Next is sticking with that philosophy for dice cards, Resistance Crait Speeder is still the best 2 cost vehicle in the game imo, Handheld L-S1 Cannon for the best 2 cost upgrade in the game, A-Wing allows for quick hit, snipe damage, and Black One/BB-8 combo can lead to Vader's Fist level of damage in a round if you sequence it correctly.ARC-170 Starfighter is just a really good value 3 cost vehicle as well. The 4 mods are included as they offer really good value for their die sides, and leads in with the old school wide vehicle playstyle. So don't throw all the mods on 1 ship, spread them around so if one gets blown up, you still have more where that came from.
Finally for the Events/Other cards: Riot Shield is great in any trooper deck, Suppressive Fire because it's one of the only outs to a Fear and Dead Men from Vader, Motivate, Logistics, and Emulate help set up for early ramp, First Aid can offer insane value turn 1 especially in mono-red deck, Into The Garbage Chute as really solid damage removal, and Measure for Measure for solid zero cost removal. Finally, Strategic Planning is put in for a soft Shadow Caster counter that can also be used in other matchups offensively.
I've found in testing this deck does great into damage decks, but is almost an autoloss to mill, but it is definitely fun to play! Especially if you want a different variation of a Clone deck!
