Obviously a huge bunch of dice to get from this deck. That's one of this decks strategies, but not the only and not even the strongest in my opinion. As my title Shows, I was focusing on Rex - Clone Captain in addition to the Long-Term Plan-Plot. Due to the team-up with two Clone Trooper-characters Rex provides me the ability to take over control of the Battlefield most of the time during each round.

There are several cards like Mortar Team, Dug in or Camouflaged Rifle, which depend on or win by the control of the Battlefield - leaving alone the Battlefield itself, Port District - Bespin. The high number of blank sides on my characters is no good to win the initial rollout for the Battlefield, so I couldn't rely on it too much for my strategic thoughts, but given the situation, I won the Battlefield, there are multiple cards with Costs of 3 or more gaining ambush by it, like ARC-170 Starfighter, IQA-11 Blaster Rifle or even the Ground Battalion. Those are expensive cards, I agree, but besides a solid amount of on my dice, I picked the Tech Team to lower the costs of my supports and the Senate Chamber to ensure some -sides, if necessary. The cheaper Upgrades DH-17 Blaster Pistol or Handheld L-S1 Cannon do not only decrease the cost of the more expensives. Rex's Blaster Pistol is essential for the decks Speed, because of its ability. Taking control of the Battlefield before activating Rex can easily turn into a four action round with the additional activation of a Clone Trooper and a final reroll option.

A decent amount of -Symbols f.eg.on the Survival Gear or my Events like Defensive Position should keep my team alive long enough to see the Long-Term Plan blow the enemy with a nice bonus of 4-5 extra Damage.

That's devastating even worse with indirect Damage, which my Opponent lately encountered on a remarkable finish with 8 by one die (due to Ground Battalion and Long-Term Plan). As indirect damage my Opponent felt the full power of the attack killing the last three of his wounded characters, while I only could have shot one character with 8 from an enhanced Fang Fighter-shot.

Additional: I first tried the same deck with an Elite-Rex - Clone Captain and two Clone Trooper, which only led to Rex dying even faster. Due to his ability and the potential of Rex's Blaster Pistol, he was the main target anyway. But by lowering his influence and including Long-Term Plan, I gained a hard-hitting alternative for the late game, when Rex himself most likely isn't alive anymore. What a hero to setup the plan, knowing, he won't survive to see its success! .
