Hi folks! I'm fresh off another local tournament win. At the time of writing this, I've won every local tournament I've attended (8), and I've also won the MK store championship. Every time I've entered, I've run a variation of this deck, so I thought I'd share my latest build with you fine blokes! =)

The erratas were kind to us. They nerfed almost every other competitive deck out of existence, while barely affecting us at all. I've always believed that heroes were stronger than villains, but after the erratas, that statement has never been more true.

We're running eKanan / Rey / Instructor. With Kanan's resolution cheats, and Rey's action cheats, this deck runs as fast (often faster) as a 2 character deck. Jedi Instructor's dice are almost identical to Kanan Jarrus - Rebel Jedi's dice, which allows her effect to resolve consistently. The combined health of our characters is 29, which is among the highest health pools possible. We opted for double dice Kanan Jarrus - Rebel Jedi over double dice Rey - Force Prodigy, as his dice are slightly better, and the more dice he has, the more dice he can cheat, whereas Rey - Force Prodigy's effect is just as powerful regardless of how many dice she has.

We're running a bunch of cheap control, so that we can afford to pamper ourselves with upgrades, while consistently keeping our opponent at bay. The amount of control, along with our shield generation and high health pool, is often overwhelming. Before we know it, we have 7+ upgrades in play and we're snowballing our way to victory.

During mulligan, we fish for Force Speed, a 2 cost upgrade OR Lightsaber Pull, as well as Guard and Caution. We'll shuffle in excess upgrades that we can't afford, or aoe control, which is considerably better late game, when there are more dice on the board (eg Force Misdirection and Sound The Alarm).
