I made this deck on a whim. I was looking at Baze and thinking he has some pretty solid sides. I saw that he fit with 3 other elite characters: Rey, Maz, and Snap. I thought Rey would be fun, but I already have a Rey Luke deck that I really like do I passed that choice up. Baze Maz seems pointless because no matter what Poe is probably a better choice for Maz's partner. So that left me with Snap. I like snap. He's a great control piece with his disrupt sides and a fantastic ability. Since I was making a mono red deck I knew that I had to go with speed because there isn't a lot of mitigation in mono hero red. I wanted the deck to be cheap (in game). Baze has really solid sides already so gun upgrades don't have to be super important. For that reason I kept them to a minimum so that money would be loose and able to pay for events and pay damage sides instead of expensive upgrades. Promotion, baby blaster, overkill and holdout seemed like all the guns I could ever need or want. Wingman, It's a trap, and Hit and run are obvious mono hero inclusions to make the deck hit fast and hard. The other choices I made in the deck were to keep the deck lean and fast. Supports aren't even in consideration because they slow the deck down (the only one I may add is planetary uprising because it's just amazing and this deck claims like crazy).

I didn't really expect much out of this deck but I thought it would be fun and at least decent. So I played a few games against some random decks and it crushed them. At this point I perked up a bit and thought I may have run across a winner. So I thought I would see what I could do against Poe/Maz. The first game was really interesting. I got wingman, a baby blaster and an overkill down first turn and on the second turn I got the money draw. Hit and run plus It's a trap. Poe rolls out, and gets nothing great. I play something free to waste time. Maz rolls out and does the standard thing with her focus to turn Poe into a special and throws out a thermal. I take it but don't care at all because Maz's second die showed Ranged damage. Hit and run with wingman rolls out both characters with an action to spare, I play It's a trap and out of nowhere deal 10 damage to Poe. Wow this deck hits like a truck. After some healing and a turn or two of mitigation and good play, I make a huge mistake and lose my momentum and the battlefield and things fall apart. I learned through the game though that this deck might have legs. We setup again and this time it's a hard fought battle but I win after some tricky stuff.

Now, I just haven't had the time (yet) to test this against other Meta decks but so far it's been really great. It's a fun deck because it's so cheap. I never feel resource starved. It's lightning fast once you get wingman onto Snap, and it hits like a freight train. I think with some tweaks this deck can go places. Try it out...it's really fun if nothing else.
