The strength of this deck comes from being able to take multiple actions in a row, hitting very hard with Luke. You want Fast Hands and Force Speed on Luke ASAP. When that combo hits, the two free actions (one of which you'll use to roll Maz and resolve 2 from her) let you resolve quickly before Luke's dice can be removed. God forbid you get two Force Speeds on Luke with a 75% chance of rolling at least one Force Speed special. If not a second Force Speed, Vibroknife is equally (if not more) devastating.

This particular battlefield is really important, here. It'll almost never get used against you because you're resolving too quickly. But it's vital for dice removal on your end and a powerful way to claim, which you will most of the time (really helps against those Planetary Uprisings.) New Orders has been really important because the initial roll is often lost.

It's surprising how much this deck racks up resources, as the main upgrades cost nothing. A particularly brutal thing to do is resolve your dice after hitting the FH/FS combo and then jumping to Hyperspace.

It's competitive even without Force Speed kicking in, though. With Maz's ability, you can still resolve dice pretty quickly. And there is a TON of dice removal (with Deflect and Reversal even throwing it back.)

My Ally is the Force is a game-changer. Couple that with a 3-damage Luke.

Often, Maz is attacked first, which is fine because it gives you time to load up on Luke. If they go after Luke, well then you have Maz's die (and very likely a Goggles die and/or Vibroknife, too) helping you out for longer.

On TTS, I've probably played only about 10 - 15 games with it. In this small sample, it has fared quite well. I'd guess it has won 75% of the time, faring best against decks like itself - one really strong character and one supporting one. It has won 3 out of 4 against Maz/Poe. It's just simply faster. (The one loss was with Poe down to 1 health.) It hits so hard, so fast - and then removes the opposing character die during a claim.

It has had a harder time against decks with characters that are more or less equally strong. Has played Kylo/Anakin twice and Han/Rey once. Lost all three. Usually close games, but still lost.

All small samples, so nothing has been decided yet. Also keep in mind, I'm not an experienced player. I've maybe played 25 games total. I don't have all of the nuances down, so this deck may be even better in experienced hands, and there are probably things I'm missing. Whatever the case, it seems like a very competitive deck. Quite fun to chain actions.

That said, I'd hate to be on the other end of all of those actions. Feels like it takes away from the back-and-forth of the game, which seems to be a common concern.

Cards that could possibly be replaced, in order: Draw Attention, Caution, Hunker Down, Unpredictable (they've all had their moments and can be helpful, but not nearly as often as the rest.)

Have since taken out 2x Caution, Draw Attention, Hunker Down, 2x Unpredictable to add a second New Orders, 2x Dodge, Block, 2x Loth-Cat & Mouse (pretty common to have one kinda useless die out there after all the resolving.)

With Force Speed, Fast Hands and Max's power, have you considered more damage upgrades like a Luke's Lightsaber or Mikashi Training to add to Vibroknife? I really do like the base concept of the deck.
