Book 1394

Both characters have cheaty activation shenanigans, which is the cornerstone concept here. Jango gets free activations and Bala gets to double down after someone dies--which, in this 3+ character meta of late, is quite good.

You want to upgrade Fett first, make those free activations scarier. Then slowly work on Bala. We want them to focus on Fett while we outfit Bala. This positions us for maximum damage potential--if things shake out as planned.

The upgrades are standard. Yellow dice are key for Fight Dirty, one of our strong finishers. All In is our other sneak attack--which gels well with Datapad and Comlink.

We have some soft control in Comlink and Jetpack. There are also a number of events that also help:Electroshock, He Doesn't Like You, Unpredictable, and the deadly (but expensive) Reversal. The latter is the most expensive card in the deck--Black Market is a bit slow in my experience in cost and result. Hunker Down is one of the few shield-generating cards--which is another solid argument for working in a single Market.

The deck has a few other tricks in cards like Disarm and Cunning. Infamous helps to speed up claims and kills. On the Hunt helps to keep shields low and sometimes nuke a die to boot.

Some might ask where Flame Thrower is; it's slow and not ranged damage, so thanks but no thanks. Gaffi Stick relies to much on Jangos melee results and is pretty underwhelming on the whole. Underworld Connections is slow in this type of deck--remember, you don't net one resource until that third activation.

I quite like this setup, as it is focused on its objective. Enjoy!
