This was a deck to try and consistently get Anakin's 4r1 side to hit. To that end, there are lots of ways to focus die or reroll them along with ways to make money. Anakin's activated ability is a little weaker without an apprentice, but there are still spots where you would rather discard a card to steal a shield than save cards to reroll. He can also gift the shield to C3PO to help keep him around. If you can mulligan and find R2-D2, then you get a big boost with being able to spot him for 3P0's activated ability.
