I built this deck and my brother played this deck that went 5-1 in GQ at the euros in krakow on sunday.
First match was against aphra/grievous/sentinel. It was a close game. But as soon as I was able to use his desperate measures to get ride of 0-0-0 then the match became alot easier for me..
Second match was against eJabba/wat/sentinel. This was a really close game.. was won with pure luck.. he had no cards in hand and none in deck I had one life left on Wullf Yularen - ISB Colonel and had Bubble Shield out. He had one chance to throw Sentinel Messenger out and he got 1 focus instead of 2 melee and all other dice only had sides that had indirect. So Bubble Shield saved the game..
3rd game was again against aphra droids. It just went very similar as the first one.
4th was the game that I lost.. it was eHan/eMace/lightsabre mastery. He just managed to ramp to quickly.. and I think I could have played that game better..
5th game was again eJabba/wat/sentinel. This game went really smooth.. I managed to remove all his supports. I got 4 damage on my characters in total. And had both Riot Shield still untouched.
6th game was against another mill deck. Emotti/wuulf/sentinel. It was a big advantage for me to be able to use his cards.. I had seven cards left in deck when I won.
What all these games had in common. Was that I always won the roll off and almost never claimed. Just played slowly. Always used Grand Moff. Some cases 2 of them. It's a fun deck to play but not always for youre opponents. You have to focus and Remember alot of cards. Made you wish you could write notes.

As a fellow Thrawn player, I applaud you. (Even if it is mill ;) ) |
I love the look of the deck and plan on having a crack with it when I get a chance! I think Wullf seems really solid, but needed a good partner and Thrawn looks super good. Question, if you're running Moffs, did you find Taking Ground useful? Could you Moff PA into your own battlefield and use Separatist Conspiracy for the plot instead?
