I made this deck as a casual deck originally because I wanted to see how well AR worked with IG and his ship. I choose SBD as the partner because of his ability to flip IG to a Damage side and because his point cost let me run AR. This deck is surprisingly effective, even against two-wides, and while my original version isn’t a budget deck (only legendaries are two Handheld Cannons) I figured it was easy enough to convert to a budget deck.
There are no legendaries in this build, and a lot of the cards are reprints or cards that come with the Grievous starter, so it shouldn’t cost much to make. Bounty Board is great against Ewoks and you should hard mulligan for it against them (keeping any bounties you draw), AR for IG-2000 usually round two after you set up, but round 1 is definitely feasible. Punishing One is great for resets and since it’s only 2Resources it’s easy to play. You can also AR Punishing One if someone Separatist Embargos the IG-2000. Against non-Ewoks bounty board isn’t necessary so you don’t need to hard pitch for it. There aren’t many upgrades but between IG’s power action, SBD focusing your IG die, and IG-2000, the deck still pumps out plenty of damage.
So if you’re a baller on a budget, just remember, even you can afford one of the galaxy’s most dangerous bounty hunters.
Since you have red, you should think about adding 1 or 2 Defoliator Tank's, but only if you are playing ewoks. Since the defoliater's special is to do 3 damage to all charecters that are not a droid or General Grievous, you can eliminate all of the ewoks in 2 shots.
