Had a couple of close calls, but managed to eke out a respectable 5-0 at our locals. This list drops the second Vader's Fist I was running in favor of a Hailfire because I didn't have the money to play a Fist all night.

  • Round 1: W vs eBeckett, eWat - Blockade
  • Round 2: W vs Leia, Anakin, eLors (by 1 card)
  • Round 3: W vs eAphra, Wat, Fost
  • Round 4: W vs eBoushh, ePadme (by 1 health)
  • Round 5: W vs eBeckett, eWatt - Armored Reinforcement

The main goal of this deck is to use AR to grab the Grievous bike and paper-cut your way to victory by leveraging the reset power action of the bike and your Laser Cannons. If your opponent might be running Vandalize, you may need to fish for something more expensive to deter them. The Hailfire and Defoliator are there to help you out. Alternatively, you can try and keep them off of three character dice in the pool with Best Defense, Beguile, and the other removal in here. Prayer helps too.

Opening hand you are looking for:

  • Laser Cannon - this is priority 1 so you can start paper-cutting
  • Logistics - if you ever hope to pay for this stuff
  • Zero cost removal - which isn't that hard considering you are running villain Red/Blue
  • Probe - so you can ruin someone's day

Legacies was an MVP here. My SBD and wheelbike like to roll modified sides, and it helped make sure those sides weren't wasted. I used the SBD power action pretty much exclusively to flip the messenger to the 2 melee side.

If I were going to change anything, I don't think I'd use the same battlefield again. I wasn't fast enough to claim consistently.

How often are you using more than 2 vehicles? I wonder if some events could replace VF and Hailfire. Defoliator is legit

I expected to be vandalized all night, or even n1-ed, so I went with four supports because I wanted to be sure I could find another vehicle before everyone died or I got milled (half the field was mill decks). I just don’t like to lose hard if my win condition disappears turn one.

As an alternative, I could also see dropping 2 of the vehicles for a couple of Grievance Strikers because of their synergy with Grievous and redeploy.

You can definitely go the removal route though. 12 removal is usually enough for me, but I could’ve used a little more unconditional removal against Padme / Boushh.

Hope you enjoy the deck.

Which vehicle did you typically pull out round 1? The Wheel Bike?

We're going for the Wheel Bike every time because of the reset with Grievous. Here's an updated list based on feedback from others that you may be interested in: swdestinydb.com Hope you are enjoying it!
