With every new set, I look at what I got from my first boxes and see if there are any combinations of characters that seem fun to toy around with. I lucked into two Lando Calrissian - Smooth and Sophisticated, so I tried thinking about who I'd like to team him up with. I love Rebels so I decided to give Hera Syndulla - Phoenix Leader a try. They had some interaction on the show, so why not?
This is my first pass. I like that Lando can bring Hera and Chopper together. That's really for thematic flavour though. Chopper might be able to do some dice removal though so he's not totally useless. Long-Term Plan seemed like a good fit to get a little extra boost when needed. Starship Graveyard - Jakku is there as something I don't think will hurt me if I lose control of the battlefield, but gives me some freedom to discard upgrades and supports for rerolls and still have a chance to use them.
This definitely needs refining. I tried to sprinkle a little bit of everything I like to see what works and what doesn't. I didn't get the new Millennium Falcon or Escape Craft. I can see those two card being added in.
