Hero 3 Wide Mill - 1st Place SC - Anti Sabine 1.0

After testing this deck out for my local store champs I decided to make some changes for a few reasons.

I was expecting to see Sabine Wren - Explosives Expert and I couldn't get a hold of 2 of Second Chance as they were in everyones decks.

In order to deal with Sabine Wren - Explosives Expert I put in 2 of Extract

Too make up for the lack of Second Chance I added 2x In The Crosshairs and Dex's Diner

To facilitate this I removed 2x Second Chance, 2x Clandestine Operation and 1x Hyperspace Jump

The hope was that the consistent healing from Dex's Diner would make up for the one shot healing from Second Chance and In The Crosshairs would stop lethal rolls.

This deck did not need help getting cards out of the deck so Clandestine Operation was an easy drop for Extract

The plan vs Sabine Wren - Explosives Expert was to Extract any early discards to disrupt her flow early and Rebel into Extract later on to lock out any big. My early focus would be hitting the hand early for discards rather milling top deck.

On the day:

Round 1: Bye - Yay....

Round 2: Vs Sabine - Piloted by our previous SC Winner

I mulliganed into 2 Extract and was able to lockout a Hidden Blaster and a Holdout Blaster

This early disruption helped but a late Anakin Skywalker's Podracer meant I was slow on the mill and lost 2 of my characters before I milled my opponent. I was able to keep him from killing me in the final round thanks to my mitigation suite.

Round 3: Mirror Match

We both milled and health equal damage in final round of the game. He had Mandalorian Vambraces out and I did not. This was my only loss for the day.

Round 4: Rose/Wedge/Partisan Hero Vehicle

I hit an early Anakin Skywalker's Podracer and Force Meditation and was able to quickly mill my opponent without taking substantial damage.

Final: Vs Kylo/Anakin

Game 1.

I hit an early Anakin Skywalker's Podracer and was able to mill my opponent and mitigate most of his damage. He landed a lot of calls on yellow and did take out a character.

Game 2.

Key cards were late to my hand and I was handed a break when he resolved all 11 at once to be blocked by Force Illusion. I lost Yoda - Wizened Master and Cassian Andor - Rebellion Operative milled him, in the final round I had a In The Crosshairs in hand to prevent any lethal rolls.
