DarthElyk 3

This the deck I piloted to a 3rd place at the store championship at Gaming Guild in Evansville Indiana. My only loss on the day came from my friend who I play destiny with quite a bit. I never seen the top 2 decks so who knows what would’ve happened. There were 9 players. I didnt play the deck prior to today and got inspiration from a lot of different builds of this fantastic pairing. Rey is my favorite character in all of Star Wars next to Yoda and I always look for ways to use her when I can. As soon as I saw that Luke was a great partner I couldnt wait to get him. It’s pretty much ramp and overwhelm with sticks Aggro deck with some nice damage out of hand.

L-Count Dooku - Darth Tyranusand Mother Talzin - Nightsister Matriarch: this is my friend who plays destiny every week. I gave put up a fight but he just got going a lot faster than me. I had tons of money and a fully upgraded rey but with 2ooku fixing dice along with mother it was an uphill battle. I wasted a lot of my mitigation early. He started out with a Vibroknife. Combined with bad rolls on my part and some on his we almost went to time before he nutso rolled into 8 damage to kill Luke and put 4 on rey too. It was a great game. 0-1

W-Cassian Andor - Rebellion OperativeJedha Partisanx2: a mill deck that the pilot took to gencon and did fairly well with the weekend prior. He was a really nice guy to play against. I put an Ancient Lightsaber on rey and rolled out Luke. Luke dumps 4 into cassian. He dropped Dex's Diner and then I rolled rey into 4 more damage. He ate it. Healed and I pitched to reroll and rolled into more damage and had 8 on Cassian Andor - Rebellion Operativegoing into round 2. I rolled out Luke and Rey and managed to roll 10 more damage. I killed Cassian and took out a jedha turn 2. Then he had a jedha with 3 damage on it already bc of an Under Attack. And it was just clean up from that point. He got through about half of my deck in the game. 1-1

W- Ahsoka Tano - Force Operative and Kanan Jarrus - Rebel Jedithis was one of the owners and he didn’t have any of the new cards. He dropped a force push on Kanan and I dropped Force Speed on Luke. I rolled Luke out and hit the special and 2 shields on each Luke dice. I took The force speed special did the 4 and then power actioned to move the force speed over to Rey. I dropped an ancient on rey. And rolled her out into 4 more damage. I ended round 1 with like 6 damage on Ahsoka. I got a Makashi Training dropped on Luke, used loth wolf bond rolled out and got enough to put Ahsoka down. Next roll I started with rey and rolled lethal damage on kanan. He laid down force illusion and I had Synchronicityin my hand with no shields and I had Luke still. Rolled out Luke and got a shield side. I synchronicity’d for the kill. 2-1

W-mirror match- he took down Luke first and I took out his rey. The turning point was when my Luke with 3 shields was sitting there with 10 health and his rey was gone. He had lethal showing on Luke. I Riposte to put 3 into his Luke. He killed Luke the next turn. I rolled out rey and with 3 shields 2 shotos and a force speed. I ate the shields he put on Luke the turn before and pinged him. Next roll was amazing and I had enough to kill his Luke. 3-1

Thanks for taking the time to read. I love this deck and I’m looking forward to the next time I get to play it.
