So I'm kicking an idea of a Hero mill deck. Using the discard to devastate my opponent's hand having Admiral Ackbar - Perceptive Tactician do damage claming the battlefield and having more damage done by Planetary Uprising But it's just an idea, something that came out of a Maz/Rey/Ackbar deck I was trying that just didn't get it's feet off the ground. Anyone tried anything similar? Pointers? Suggestions? Am I crazy? Just want to do something that's not Emo Boys, or Palp.

I think you might be better off going on the offensive with this archetype. Discard as an aggressive tactic for damage, complementing your ranged bias.

With that said, Jyn really needs Fast Hands. There's really no reason not to use it and there are some upgrades in there that could be removed to improve effectiveness overall, like Survival Gear and Diplo Immunity.

If you're bent on running Con Artist, Cunning improves its performance tenfold. Problem is that it puts even more weight on keeping Jyn alive. Speaking of which, there's very little in there doing that.

A fun combo with Jyn and Rebel would be to use Thermal Detonator (which helps both a damage and a mill archetype), to explode it and return it on demand. Infamous and Fast Hands make it deadly, worth mentioning.

Cool suggestions. I never thought of Fast Hands for Jyn. I want to use Cunning and TDs just don't have them yet, but at least I got some things to switch out when I get them. What would you suggest to keep Jyn alive? I was running Lone Ops, Field Medics to help with healing.

I was actually inspired by your post and decided to try my hand at it.

From the get-go, Ackbar is just there to sit tight and make his effect count. Any turn spent by your opponent damaging Ackbar is a turn you should be happy about. Which brings me to my earlier point: Jyn must survive in detriment of all else. When Uprising hits the table, you might find yourself rarely activating Ackbar at all. This might make you consider running Leadership, which is cute but might work on a clutch.

Many cards in your current build are biased towards "cuteness" (improving on effects that don't help the main goal of the deck, a living Jyn). I'd sugest getting rid of them in favor of defenses. Commando Raid, Natural Talent, Strategic Planning, Quadjumper, Launch Bay and C-3PO should all go. You need Electroshock, Loth-Cat and Mouse, Defensive Position. Hard removal goes a long way into extending a game.

On the upgrade department, a Hero Mill needs Second Chance. Add Ammo Belt for longevity and you're good to go. With Rebel, you don't even need to commit to Starship Graveyard as your battlefield. Just recycle Ammo Belt for free (courtesy of Jyn's effect) and live through your opponent's misery.

I ran a damage-oriented deck (milling becomes a second but concurrent win con), so Thermal Detonator is gold. If you can't afford it or can't find it, make it a long-term priority to get a set. It's really the only expensive upgrade Jyn needs.

I need to get Electroshock. I thought about Loth-Cat and Mouse early on I guess I need to stick to my instincts on that. I'm on the hunt for Thermal Detonator's now. Thanks again for all your insight.
